There’s one question that has been bothering me for awhile now..
Me and my friends just want to have a look around, so do we need to buy tickets to enter ?
I mean not participating in any cosplay events, but just to look around and buy items there.
November 17th, 2009 at 2:47 pm
How do I enter the cosplay competition? Can i sing and play guitar in it?? o.0

December 1st, 2009 at 10:30 pm
Excuse me. Can anyone give a full tentative on the activities held? I really want to know to plan my trip to comic fiesta this year. Please and thank you.
December 4th, 2009 at 9:48 am
Sorry for the late reply, Arika, but unfortunately we can’t do that yet. Comic Fiesta is organised and run completely by volunteers and are not backed by any organisation, so we don’t have the funds needed to run a free event.
December 4th, 2009 at 9:51 am
Yes, White, you do need to purchase the tickets. I’m terribly sorry for the late reply.

hi! Coffy! there are few question here i would like to ask.
1st, is it included WESTERN and EASTERN comic in this comic fiesta?
2nd, is it have all those things that related to comic can be FOUND/ SOLD in this comic fiesta?
what i mean is such as comic character model, comic books, comic merchandise.
because what i saw in this website is all about cosplay and art competition
and i more interested in those comic book and merchandise but not cosplay.
Thank you!

Hello,
Specifically at Sunway Pyramid is Comic Fiesta being held? Is Comic Fiesta being held at the convention centre at the Sunway Lagoon Hotel & Resort or in the mall? By sheer luck, I might get a chance to attend (from Canada) and experience an anime-cosplay convention outside of Canada.
Thank you
December 13th, 2009 at 5:59 pm
hi,
is it necessary for all of the visitors to wear a costume?
if i wear a costume, do i HAVE TO ENTER the cosplay competition?
coz, i really just want to have fun with my home-made costumes.
December 14th, 2009 at 1:22 pm
Hi Atsumi
You don’t have to wear a costume OR take part in the Cosplay Competition if you don’t want to.
Just bring yourself and your ticket!

Hi Narmi!
Sorry for the late reply, but Comic Fiesta will be held at the Convention Centre in Sunway Pyramid (it links to the hotel in case you were wondering).
Hope to see you there!

Naoko
December 14th, 2009 at 1:32 pm
Hi Ivan
Thank you so much for your enquiry!
Yes, we encourage both Eastern and Western comics (though for some reason there’s always more Japanese-inspired stuff).
Depending on the genre and artist, what you’ll find are fanmade items like posters, artbooks, comics, plushies, merchandise etc. The contests are just a facet of Comic Fiesta, but the real draw and life is in our Artists Booths, who don’t just sell merchandise, many make it themselves too!
Check out our industry seminars and portfolio pavilion times for more (timetable up soon!). I hope this answers your questions.
Regards
Naoko

Hey now that it’s over, can you find a spot for all to gather the neat photos and vids? XDD <3 CF 09
December 21st, 2009 at 8:16 pm
yeah! its over!
it is so amazing, attractive and impressive fiesta.
a programme is highly comical in the last day, when there are few gal dancing on the stage and the compere is taking the ‘WTF’ board moving in front of them. haha!
i found few special merchadize and take a lot of photo at there too.
but i found out the hall is not fully utilized yet.
hope next year will be more and more special and attractive comic fiesta.
