The Comic Fiesta ticketing department is pleased to announce that Comic Fiesta tickets are now being sold at the following retail outlets:

Anime Tech Sunway Pyramid (Bowling Alley)
Anime Tech Mid Valley (California Fitness)

Tickets are sold at RM25 in 2 DAYS sets only.

1) Tickets sold at retail outlets are for 2 DAY TICKETS only.

2) You’ll receive one mock ticket for each set purchased (i.e. 1 mock for 1 Two-Day sets, 2 mocks for 2 Two-Day Sets) and a receipt.

3) COMIC FIESTA shall not be responsible for the following:
i) damaged mock tickets sold by retail outlets
ii) lost, damaged or stolen tickets
iii) dubious receipts (a.k.a RM20 for a set of 2 Days Tickets)

5) Ticket redemption opens at 9 a.m on both days. Please show your receipt AND your mock tickets to claim from the respective ticketing counter.

6) For special promotions/discounts, please enquire at the retail outlets

7) Ticket redemption without either the mock tickets OR the accompanying receipt will be rejected. Both items must be presented at the ticketing counter. Otherwise, you’ll need to purchase a new
ticket to enter Comic Fiesta ‘09.

The Comic Fiesta 2009 Ticketing Department committee reserves the right to refuse redemption to ticket holders who produce counterfeit mock tickets and/or receipts.

Comic Fiesta’s on-site art competition is back again this year! Held at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Center, this year’s art competition will be seeing the giving away of many prizes including brand new Wacom Tablets!

Entry is simple! There’ll be registration forms available on the registration counters during the event or you can download, print and submit your filled entry form to our registration counters on the day itself between 11.00am and 1.00pm*!Both Entry Forms and the Rules and Regulations are available below!

GENERAL RULES
1. This year’s art competition (here on referred to as “the competition”) will be held on-site.
2. Papers wil be provided. Additional pencils and erasers are available upon request
3. Artists are allowed (and encouraged) to bring your own drawing utensils, however, wet mediums are strictly prohibited.
4. Entries will be judged based on concept, creativity, and quality of work. 
5. Entries that contain vulgarities and/or obscenities will automatically be disqualified.
6. Judges’ decisions are final. Complaints will not be entertained.
7. Results will be announce on the very same day. 
8. Prizes will be given out towards the end of the day’s festivities. If the winners are not present to claim their prizes and no proxy is present, ther prize will be subject to forfeit. Comic Fiesta will not be held responsible in ensuring the delivery of the prizes to the winners.
9. Comic Fiesta reserves the right to change the terms of the competition at our discretion without any prior notice.

COMPETITION DETAILS
1. The competition will be held on the first day of Comic Fiesta (Saturday, 19th Dec 2009).
2. The competition will be divided into two groups – “below 17 years of age“, and “17 and above“, whereby each category will be judged separately.
3. Registration for the competition will be open between 11.00am and 1.00pm and are limited to the first sixty (60) participants (of each category) only*.
4. Participants of either category are required to draw a short comic or illustration based on a theme which will be provided at the day itself.
5. The theme will be up at 1.15pm and the competition will only start at 2.30pm. Participants are free to do anything in between those times.
6. An additional briefing will be held at 2.15pm whereby papers marked by the official Comic Fiesta cop will be handed out. 
7. Additional paper will be provided upon request. However, only entries drawn on the papers marked with the official Comic Fiesta cop will be taken into consideration for the competition.
8. The competition will end at 5.30pm. To be fair, all artists are required to stop their works immediately at that time.
9. Results will be announced at about 7.00pm on the very same day. Prizes will be handed out there and then. In the absence of a winner/proxy to receive the prize, kindly refer to Rule-7 of the General Rules.

*The availability of slots are subject to change. Additional contestants will be put onto a waiting list and notified should there be slots available.
